From its early beginning in 2001, Infinity Power Parachutes has been a machine for the ages.
Company founder, Alvie Wall, an aviation enthusiast and engineer by trade, decided he wanted to do more than just fly powered parachutes. Alvie, took his passion for design and his love for flying and entered the world of powered parachute design.
Alvie, designed and built the first Commander model to address many of the issues other powered parachutes were experiencing. The Commander was a vast improvement over what was currently on the market. The stout design afforded customers a better suspension, solid chassis frame rails, increased stability, comfortable seating, and above all… heightened safety.
At the Sebring Air Show in January 2007, Infinity proudly debuted the Commander series as the first American PPC S-LSA certified by the FAA to meet the stringent aircraft standard. Infinity continues to design and build to the same exacting standards.
The Infinity line up has now expanded to include the single seat Challenger 503 and the Commander series featuring the Commander 582, Commander 912 and the Commander VE (130 HP Viking Engine). Each model can be ordered with an array of options, colors, and with your choices of parachutes from Apco, Performance Design, and ASAP. Replacement parts are available for current and previous model Infinity planes as well as Destiny PPC and fabrication of select Buckeye PCC parts.
CHANGING OF THE GUARD
In 2019, Frank Williams purchased the company assuming responsibility for sales and manufacturing. Frank’s also an aviation enthusiast with nearly twenty year experience piloting powered parachutes in northern Indiana. His background includes machining, inspection, manufacturing, and quality management in the aerospace industry, with the last twenty years as the Quality Assurance manager and FAA specialist for an international aerospace corporation.
Frank and Alvie are dedicated to the continued improvement and future success of Infinity Power Parachutes and Alvie will remain as an integral member of the team for design and engineering.
THE FUTURE
We’ll continue to provide a free inspection of planes for all Infinity owners, with expansion to Destiny and Buckeye PPCs owners. The inspection includes a thorough review and diagnostic check of critical safety and maintenance issues, with recommendations for repair and replacement items.
With an eye to the future, Infinity will be working to develop a new Commander with improved economy, quieter flight, and sustainability for the environment.
We’ll also be expanding the dealer network to improve customer service through local access to parts and service. Please let us know if you’d like to become an Infinity dealer.
We invite you to compare Infinity with the competition; we think you’ll agree that we have the best powered parachute on the market for safety, design, and price. Thank you for your consideration and support of Infinity. We look forward to serving you for many years to come.
Blue Skies!
